Lime Mortar and Lime Plaster are the same product. It can be used equally well as a mortar or an undercoat plaster, ready for the smooth finish plaster. NOTE: DO NOT prime the surface you are rendering on to with any PVA or similar types of primer. It will prevent the breathability of the wall you are rendering. This can cause damp problems in the future.
